Halima Aden
Halima has been featured in many magazines such as Vogue and Elle and has competed for Miss Minnesota. She was the first hijabi to walk international runways and to be signed to a major agency. In 2018 she became a UNICEF ambassador and continued to focus on advocating for children’s rights. Another great accomplishment is being the first black hijabi woman to be featured on the cover of Essence Magazine 2020. Halima is an incredible person who has inspired many black Muslim women and young girls and is continuing to doing so.
